As a Garden designer and landscaper I had the pleasure of winning A.P.L. (Association of Professional Landscapers) awards for both commercial and domestic garden projects. The Association of Professional Landscapers is a national body raising standards for garden landscaping. Winning a coveted A.P.L. award demonstrates commitment to quality in the garden design and garden construction industry. This means a lot to me in my design career.
The projects grew from a small suburban to larger country gardens giving me greater scope for my creativity and a need to increase the workforce which became two teams of three, plus office staff and a full time design assistant. Every detail was important, from design, building right through to the plants, which I consider are the very essence of a beautiful garden.
